Do you have to register there or buy a dress there?

How do I go about finding a wedding dress?
Are there any stores that don’t require appointments?
Does it cost anything for an appointment?
What are some of the best places to go?

Most places don’t require an appointment, but they prefer it.
There shouldn’t be a fee for an appointment. If so run the other way the dresses are probably high priced.
Try online shopping for like David’s Bridal or designer searches like Alfred Angelo and then find a store near you.
No requirements to register or buy a dress, however, they would prefer it.

I scouted online for months and then when I found a few I liked/loved, I went to the store and purchased my dress and walked out with ti that day. If you choose to use a chain store like DB try going on a weekday. I went on a Friday no one was there and although I had like an hour with my consultant, we actually needed and used like 3/4 hours, the personal attention can be limited on a weekend and that is truly important if you want to find “the” dress.

It does not (should not) cost anything for you to make an appointment to try on bridal gowns. Get out your phone book and start by making appointments for those stores near you. You do not have to register with them and you do not have to buy a dress from any place — you are under no obligation when you go to try on gowns. Some will ask you to register, and just be aware that alot of times they sell your info to others– and you end up getting alot of junk mail/ calls. I suggest not registering.

Ask for suggestions from people in your town– as to good places and any to stay away from.

look online at sites like David’s Bridal at styles that you want and then you can find stores that carry that specific style. The best way to find out information about any store is to find the website, see if what they have caters to your needs, and then look up the contact info and call with questions. you can also search for the best-rated stores/designers on google or another search engine to find places that people really liked and got great service from. Good luck and congrats!
